Jealous Husband

Husband: Where are you?
Wife: At home.
Husband: Are you sure?
Wife: Yes.
Husband: Turn on the blender.
Wife: (Turns blender on) Reeereeeereeee …
Husband: Ok my love, goodbye.

Another day …

Husband: Where are you?
Wife: At home.
Husband: Are you sure?
Wife: Yes.
Husband: Turn on the blender.
Wife: (Turns blender on) Reeereeeereeee …
Husband: Ok my love, goodbye.

Next day …

The next day, the husband decided to go home without notice and found his son alone. He asked his son, “Where is your mother?”

Son: I don’t know, she went out with the blender.

A Lesson

A son took his elderly father to a restaurant for dinner. During the meal, his father would continuously drop food onto his shirt and trousers.

And while other customers turned around and gave the pair unpleasant looks, the son was calm and helped his father clean up his mess.

After their meal, the son led his father to the restroom and helped him wipe the stains off of his clothes.

Then, he helped his father comb his hair, put on his jacket, and straighten his glasses.

After they came out, the son went to pay the bill, and stood up to leave. Everyone watched them in dead silence.

No one could understand how someone could embarrass himself in public like that.

Then, all of a sudden, one of the customers, an old man, called out to the son.

“Don’t you think you have left something behind?” he asked.

“No, sir, I haven’t,” the son replied.

“Yes, you have!” replied the old man. “You have left a lesson for every son, and hope for every father.”

And with that reply, the entire restaurant fell silent.

Take care of those who once cared for us.

One Hour from You

After his wife passed away a year ago, Rick worked as a part time supervisor in a retailed store in addition to his full time consulting job. He wanted to earn more money and provide a better life to his daughter.

One night during dinner, his daughter asked, “Dad, how much do you earn for an hour of your part time job?”

The question surprised Rick and he answered softly, “50 dollars per hour.”

“Can you give me 30 dollars?” his daughter asked.

Rick was curious, he asked, “What for?”

“I just need 30 dollars from you,” his daughter replied.

“I won’t give you the money unless you tell me what the money is for.” Rick was a bit impatient and worried about why his daughter needed the money.

His daughter was upset and kept herself in her room that night.

Regretted and feeling guilty, Rick slid 3 10-dollar notes through the gap underneath his daughter’s bedroom door.

When Rick woke up the next morning, he saw a note placed on the table. On top was his daughter’s hand writing: “Can I buy one hour from you today after school? I want you to come to school and see our choir performance.”

Beside the note, other than Rick’s 3 10-dollar notes, there were another 20 dollars made up of smaller notes and coins which Rick recognized as his daughter’s pocket money.

Life is to Keep Looking Forward

It’s a human behavior to look back at the things in life that we sometimes, if not always regret. Whether it’s a failing relationship, to getting to know someone, to date someone, to be with someone, we all have regrets, we’re not perfect.

So many people look back at life, at their regrets, saying how they regret doing this, or talking to that person, or getting to know that person. I used to be one of them, may be i still am, it’s a battle for anyone.

So, look forward, move forward, and think about what’s coming, and not what left.

No matter how old you are, we still have so much to look forward to in life, and whether you can’t see something good happen in the near future, it doesn’t mean it won’t. Each step we take, we slightly or dramatically change our future, each word we speak, we influence the people around us, the setting around us.

Remember, if we look back whilst we’re walking, we’ll crash or bump into things we could see coming if we were looking forward.

So, look forward, admire what is coming, face the challenges that appear, overcome obstacles and kick negativity in the butt.

Stay Active

We are living in the age of inactivity. How much time are you are wasting in front of a screen? What are you usually doing while you are in front of a screen? You are probably sitting and eating. Physical inactivity has its price tags and it is linked to the development of various diseases. It can make us feel bad about ourselves. Do you observe someone around you who have more energy, stamina, and an overall healthier lifestyle than others? This is the type of person we should strive to be. But how to become them?

Set the timer of your smart watch or phone to remind you to exercise hourly. The routine is up to you, it can be a mix of push-ups, planks and curls. This is the best way to get your blood circulating. You can exercise anywhere, don’t feel weird to do push-ups at the airport. The best form of exercise is to simply run. Run early in the morning. It is amazing what benefits this will bring and how good it will feel. If you only do one form of exercise other than running, planking is the one you should do. If you can’t hold the pose for 50 seconds, you may be prone to serious health problems. Stand while you work, purchase a standing workstation and refuse to sit down at work.

Drinking more water will instantly give you more energy, you will feel drained and fatigued if you are dehydrated. Get quality sleep in order to stay awake longer and have more energy. Stop worrying about things that do not matter. If you worry about too many things or try to spend your day pleasing everyone else but yourself, then you will lose energy. You will fail to get sleep and you will spend your entire day with low stamina. Why waste energy worrying when you can use the same energy to visualize success? Get a theme song, listening to music will provide you an instant energy boost. Try creating playlists for each mood you would like to put yourself in. Go outside often, you will be amazed at the energy boost by simply going outside.

Here are all the hints. Do or do not, the choice is up to you. But there is no try. The process will be challenging, but by breaking the challenges into smaller parts, they will be less overwhelming. In the end, you have to want it. You have to be willing to work hard and suffer some short-term pain.

Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret.

The Story of the Eagle

The eagle has the longest life-span among birds. It can live up to 70 years. But to reach this age, the eagle must make a hard decision.

In its 40’s, its long and flexible talons can no longer grab prey which serves as food. Its long and sharp beak becomes bent. Its old-aged and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers, become stuck to its chest and make it difficult to fly.

Then, the eagle is left with only 2 options: die or go through a painful process of change which lasts 150 days.

The process requires that the eagle fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out. After plucking it out, the eagle will wait for a new beak to grow back and then it will pluck out its talons. When its new talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its old-aged feathers.

And after 5 months, the eagle takes its famous flight or rebirth and lives for 30 more years.

Many times, in order to survive we have to start a change process. We sometimes need to get rid of old memories, habits and other past traditions. Only freed from past burdens, we can take advantage of the present.

Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens. Not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life.

A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results.

When it rains, most birds head for shelter; the eagle is the only bird that, in order to avoid the rain, starts flying above the cloud.

Adoption Surprise

In most of the TV crime dramas, police normally checks CCTV to catch criminals. But CCTV can also capture heartwarming moments. An 11-year-old Utah girl’s joy after learning her adoption was finalized was caught on the school CCTV. This video will make your day.
