The train has started moving and it was packed with people of all ages. Near the window, an old man seated with his 30 year old son. As the train moved by, the son was overwhelmed with joy as he was thrilled with the scenery outside.
“See dad, the scenery of green trees moving away is very beautiful!”
This behaviour from a 30 year old son made the other people felt strange about him. Everyone started murmuring something about this son, “This guy seems to be a crack.”
Suddenly it started raining and rain drops fell on the travellers through the open window. The son, filled with joy and said, “See dad, how beautiful the rain is!”
A woman sitting next to them, got irritated with the rain drops spoiling her new suit. She complained to the father, “Can’t you see it’s raining? If your son is not feeling well, get him to a mental hospital and don’t disturb the public here!”
The old man hesitated first, then replied in a low tone, “We are on the way back from hospital, my son got discharged this morning only. He was a blind by birth. He only got his vision last week when his mother passed away and she donated her beautiful eyes to him. Therefore these rain and nature are new to his eyes. Please forgive us if we caused any inconvenience to you.”
The things we see may be right from our perspective until we know the truth. So before taking any harsh action, try to understand the problem better.
