The first time the little girl was on a train that passed through a tunnel, she scooted really close to her mother and held on to her for going through the darkness. But after a few train-riding experiences, the little girl was much more relaxed. One day, after exiting a tunnel, she turned to her mother and said, “Mother, I like tunnels!”
Surprised, her mother asked why.
The child replied, “Because tunnels have a light at both ends!”
Sometimes life is a dark tunnel when we’re dealt with a hard blow – pain, disappointment, setback, sorrows and grief. In the midst of those life’s tunnels, when it is the darkest, there are always some lessons we can learn and some things we need to remember.
When passing through a tunnel, remember that there is a light at both ends. Just keep moving, don’t stop.
